Boastinga fleet of many boats, membership entitles one to unlimited use of the boats, free instruction at all levels from beginner to advanced, with guest privileges once a member has passed a skills test.
Best of all, Community Boating is committed to making sailing a fun, safe summer activity for any child 10 - 17 who has both parental permission and proof of the ability to swim 75 yards.The junior membership runs from the end of June through the end of August and costs just $1.00!
Community Boating is located on the Esplanade off Storrow Drive between the Hatch Shell and Longfellow Bridge. Lessons for youth and adults, beginner and advanced sailors in a variety of boats, kids sail all summer for only $1.00.
Season runs from April 1 to October 15.
