Others to Consider: Castle Island & Fort Independence, West Concord / Percy Rideout Playground, Concord Playground & Spray Fountain, Endicott Park, Christopher Columbus Waterfront ParkA nifty park for younger children. There are 2 sets of swings, a sand box, and a seesaw that is easy for an adult to use with a child. There is also a tire swing and a climbing structure for older kids as well as a large paved oval track that is perfect for pushing a stroller, riding a bicycle or tricycle.
There are soccer fields nearby and the playground equipment stays in the shade most of the day. The park is open until dusk and there are no restrooms on the premises.

From Route 128: Take Route 9 West to Washington Street. Turn right at the end of the ramp (north). Go 1/2 mile then turn left on to Thomas Road. Parking is available at the end of the short street.
