Museum Passes :
Passes to area museums may be reserved at no charge in the Children's Room. This service is sponsored by the Friends of the Waltham Public Library and is available to Waltham residents only.

Internet Access:
The library has 16 computers with full Internet access. The two Internet stations in the Children's Room have CyberPatrol, a filter, installed. Please call the reference department at 314-3425 for more information or to sign up for computer time.

Loan Periods and Returns
Magazines: Two weeks, no renewals.
Rental items: One week, renewal in person only.
Videos: One week, no renewals.
All other items: Two weeks, two renewals.
Reference materials, older magazines and Waltham Room materials do not circulate. There is a limit of three items per subject for high demand or specialized topics. Unless overdue, all items should be returned to the bookdrops built into the building at the front and rear entrances.

Fines
Overdues:
Adult items - 10 cents per day per item.
Children's - 5 cents per day per item.
Book and video rentals - 25 cents per day per item.
Museum Passes - 5 dollars per day per item.
Lost cards: One dollar to replace cards for adults and children.
Lost materials: The current replacement cost is charged.
Reserve Items: One dollar per item not picked up.

Fees
Copy machine costs: 10 cents per page.
Fax copies of magazine articles: 10 cents per page.
Internet PCs and terminals:
No fee for time.
Printing is 5 cents per page.
Microfilm reader/printer: 25 cents per copy.
Typewriters: No fee for time. Paper is 5 cents per page.
Videos: One dollar per week. (Videos are not renewable.)
