The mission of the La Vida Rock Gym is to provide a safe, fun and encouraging environment for kids and adults as they learn and practice climbing and belaying skills.

The Rock Gym offers:
* Climbing/belaying skills relevant to outdoor settings
* Team-building experiences
* Celebration events (birthday parties, graduation parties)
* Development of character, perseverance and self-esteem
* Skill training at the beginner and intermediate climbing levels
* Physical fitness
* Special groups (Parent-Child, home-schooling, etc.)

The rock gym consists of an 8' by 30' bouldering wall, 25' vertical walls, 6 rope climbs and a roof section. We have routes that range from easy to hard: 5.5 - 5.11. These routes are occasionally modified. We currently use Entre Prises and Nicros holds.

Open Gym Information
The La Vida Rock Gym at Gordon is open to individuals and groups of all abilities and ages.
Children under 14 are not allowed to belay and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has fulfilled the belay testing requirement. In order to belay, one must have attended the Belaying Competency Class and pass the Belay Test. Both the class and test are offered during 6-8 P.M. of every Open Gym session. $5.00/person.

Party Rentals
The Rock Gym is available for private bookings. The recommended minimum age for group participants is 8 years old. Ideal for school groups, youth groups, boy/girl scouts, birthday and graduation parties. Call the La Vida Center for details and to check availability: p: 978.867.4111

1-6 climbers: $150
7-10 climbers: $200
11-15 climbers: $250

Rentals are available
Monday, Wednesday: 1-3 P.M., 3:30-5:30 P.M.
Friday evening: 4:45-6:45 P.M., 6:45-8:45 P.M.
Saturday, any two hours: 10 A.M.-8 P.M.

To reserve a spot, call the La Vida Center at 978.867.4111 for details and to check availability. A $50 nonrefundable deposit and a copy of the completed reservation form in our brochure are required at least one week prior. No dates are confirmed until the deposit is received.
