Pizza and snack food are available; no outside food or drinks permitted. A TV shows sports and news, there's free internet access, and two public-use computers.

'SACCS' Safety Access Child Control Program makes Monkey Joe's the safest kids play facility in the business.

TipsTop

  • Plan to stay about two hours. Kids who can bounce longer are Olympics material!

  • Monster Mini-Golf is steps away if you want to extend your day of play.

  • Be prepared for mobs on weekends, esp. when weather demands indoor play. Weekdays are a better bet for younger, more vulnerable children.

Never Again!, Sun 15 Nov 2009

Not af an of this place. Went with 4yr old twins and older kids were in bouncing roughly and took over th place. Little supervision by the parents! Will not be going back.

Broken Bones At Monkey Joes, Wed 3 Jun 2009

Took my five and two year old to a b-day party on Saturday for a daycare friend. I was concerned and had bade vibes due to the lack of control. Parents are not allowed into inflatable slides and bounce houses like at 'Jump on in'. After 40 minutes and ten minutes before we were to go to party room, a little girl ran out to say my son was crying. We got him out and it was obvious that his arm was broken. Severely bent when he tried to get up The staff seemed more interested in getting a report instead of obtaining medical help. Luckily, the father of b-day girl was an MD. I ended up driving him with two year old to hospital. Now he has full arm cast for most of the summer. I think that 1 hour is way too long to let kids run wild in such a place. In hind site, when signing in, the form is actually a fine print waiver of liability that states that inflatables are dangerous and can lead to injury or death. I should of listened to my gut and read the fine print.

A Great Place For Kids To Play, Mon 13 Apr 2009

I have a four year old son, its great to get him outdoors to play, but living in N.E. it's not always nice out when you want it to be. Monkey Joe's is a great play for kids to play and enjoy themselves. There are kids of all ages there and you still need to keep an eye on your child - just because your child can't leave the building without you doesn't mean you can just drop off your kids for a cheap babysitter, my son loves it there and so do I.

A Total Disaster!, Mon 6 Apr 2009

I recently took my five year old to experience this new play space and was there a total of 15 minutes! I was greeted at the door by a young lady telling me to sign a waiver incase she gets hurt so that the store would not be responsible! This should of been my first clue. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was the extent of total confusion, there was no organization from the staff, not enough tables for the adults, my child first trip on the inflatable slide ending in her being injured when a 11 year old jumped on her! I could not believe they did not have seperate play spaces and all kids of different sizes and ages were allowed to play together, I witness two more injuries of smaller children being injured by larger children jumping and falling on then in just the 15 minute space of time that we were there! My child suffered a minor back injury but is still in pain, Thank God it was not more serious , as it she could of been. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS play space for any parent who has small children and am appalled that they were even allowed to obtain a permit for such a public place! and to think you have to pay, sign a waiver and simply cross your fingers and hope that your child is not injured! This should not be allowed to be available for public use. Where is the City of Danvers common sense? PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY!

Worth The Trip, Mon 20 Oct 2008

My son is 3 1/2 and I brought him here on a Friday. The staff were unbelievably friendly, the food inexpensive and it was CLEAN. My son spent almost 4 hours running around like a maniac. I would highly recomend it.

Good new place, Mon 30 Jun 2008

It's nice to have an inflatables place that's not just for parties. This place is bright, clean, new, with lots of friendly staff. They might want to lower the temperature -- the kids were very sweaty. My daughter was good for about two hours of bouncing. Note: Only inflatables here -- no climbing structures-- plus a few arcade games. There is no gated little kid area -- just a scaled down inflatable.
