You'll come face to face with such notable Salem figures as the famed author of The Scarlet Letter and The House of Seven Gables - Nathaniel Hawthorne, the pirates of New England, the merciless Witch Trials judge - Colonel John Hathorne, and Tituba the accused 'witch' who helped fuel the hysteria of 1692 - just to name a few!
A separate hands-on activity areaofers visitors the chance to create their own souvenirs. Try a hand at gravestone rubbing from reproduction stones, practice the art of know tying as done by sailors of yesterday and today, visit a reproduction cell of the Salem jail of 1692 or pose as a pirate on the high seas!
