About Itsy Bitsy Yoga - (birth to 4 years old).
As featured on CNN, Itsy Bitsy Yoga is a multi-sensory stimulation experience and includes imitation, touch, breath, movement, vision, voice and intuition. Through teaching (Itsy Bitsy Yoga) to hundreds of parents and babies from birth through 2 years, Helen Garabedian creates the space and time for a parent and child to join together.
Yoga Benefits
For the baby or toddler participant, Itsy Bitsy Yoga benefits include strengthened immunity, better sleep, improved digestion and circulation, stimulated neuromuscular development, better regulated emotions, relief from gas pains and colic, and increased self-awareness.
Parent benefits of Itsy Bitsy Yoga include reduced stress, reduced anxiety, increased flexibility, new parent friends, and to strengthen and restore muscles used in pregnancy and labor. Parents also learn techniques to release tension introduced into the shoulder/back region from nursing and other parenting activities.
Registration
A $25 deposit or payment of the full course fee reserves your space in a class. We accept cash or checks. Use the Printer-friendly Registration Form
Session Fees
Your commitment to class has allowed us to manifest the class. A student who commits to two or more classes with Helen per week during an entire session is offered a 10% discount.
The fee is pro-rated for late registrants. Students may join adult yoga classes at anytime, and student may join Itsy Bitsy Yoga and Infant Massage classes through the 2nd class date of the session.
Drop-ins
Drop-ins are welcomed into adult and prenatal yoga classes with available space. The drop-in fee in Marlboro is $17 and $18 in Wellesley. Session fees are discounted when joining a session.
About Helen:
Helen Garabedian, RYT is a Certifed Yoga Teacher; Infant Developmental Movement Educator; USUI Reiki Master/Teacher; IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructor who has formally trained in Brain Gym and Pregnancy Yoga. She continues to study at the School of BodyMind Centering in Amherst, MA. Helen's first book on yoga for babies and toddlers is due out in 2004 with Simon & Schuster.
Helen Garabedian is an innovator in the field of yoga for babies and toddlers. She is the creator of Itsy Bitsy Yoga™ that includes over 70 yoga poses to calm and nurture babies from age birth to 2 years.
