Summer Camp is the perfect time to give Delphi Academy a try. Most of their regular school year curriculum is available to students, but they spend a lot of our time during the warm summer weeks just having fun. Summer students at Delphi are really more like campers.

Students come from all over the Boston area for academic enrichment and a lot of summer fun. Camp is available for students from the age of four through twelve.

A perfect balance of learning and fun:

Academics:
Summer is a great chance for students to sharpen up their study skills, brush up on subjects like reading or math, advance themselves in existing studies or explore new interests. Younger students take advantage of their early reading program offered during the summer. Summer students have the benefit of working closely with experienced, year-round faculty, who are an important part of the summer academic program.

Fun:
The other part of summer at Delphi is fun. Most days during Summer Camp are consumed with swimming, arts and crafts, and a variety of outdoor activities. Mid-mornings, all but the very youngest campers head to an Olympic-sized pool near the school for a combination of swimming lessons and free swim time. Afternoons are spent on arts and crafts activities as well as additional physical education. Depending on their age, our summer campers may learn to make puppets, find out about cooking, build something in woodshop, design a T-shirt, or try their hand at painting and sketching. Team games like soccer, kickball, dodgeball, basketball and gymnastics give children additional physical exercise.

Activities & Trips:
Every Friday during the summer session, campers go on a field trip. Our most popular trip is the beach, and we usually pick a different one each week. Younger children might go to a farm or berry picking.

No matter what the age or interests, Delphi Academy brings together learning and fun to give all our children a summer to remember.
