Once, located in Cambridge on Route 2 East, Lanes and Games was a huge bowling complex that offered both league and open bowling in tenpin and candlepin format. It was about 10 minute walk from the Alewife T stop.

Candlepin Bowling
Candlepin bowling, commonly referred by many as 'small ball bowling', is a New England staple of entertainment as unique as the area itself. Although there are similarities to ten pin bowling, candlepin bowling is a game of accuracy and power. Candlepin balls range between 2 lbs 4 oz and 2 lbs 7 oz and can be easily rolled by people of all ages.

Ten Pin Bowling
Ten pin bowling, often referred by many as big ball, real, regular and normal bowling is a popular sport worldwide. A game of finesse, accuracy and physics, ten pin is as challenging as it is fun. A wide variety of weighted balls (6 lbs - 16 lbs) allows practically everyone the opportunity, and ability to play.

Bumper Bowling
'Bumpers' are a bowling aid that prevents balls from entering the gutter for the first 50 feet of a lane. This feature allows novice players the opportunity to knock pins down on virtually every ball, enhancing the bowling experience. Bumpers are available by request.
