Others to Consider: Curious George Goes To Wordsworth, Toys R Us, Belmont Toys, Stella Bella Toys, Games People PlayThese charming neighborhood stores offers a wide variety of interactive, educational toys and books for newborns through teenagers. The space is bright and inviting with nice open areas and an interesting tin ceiling. Baskets of toys are spread throughout the store, and in the back corner is a comfortable book corner with chairs for little readers.
The large storefront windows beckon children to sneak a peek at the fun inside, where you'll find a large selection of Playmobil, Lego and Brio toys. Fortunately for kids, there are lots of 'test drive' opportunities; kids can play with a Brio train set, maneuver some remote control Rokenbok vehicles, or pound a hammer to create some basic Brio cars and trucks.
Henry Bear's also has a wide selection of dress-up clothes. Girl choices dominate the selection, but the store makes a good attempt at offering boys some nifty choices too.
