The library is a fun place to find things to do with kids & teens. Enjoy the children's area, computers, story hours, young adult programs and special events.

Morse Institute Library offers many free or reduced admission passes to area museums, historical sites, and cultural centers. View discount museum passes.

The Natick Library features a very nice children's section with inviting child-sized reading chairs, a large selection of books, computers, puzzles, story hours, and special programs.

The Children's Room offers a full program of activities and events designed to foster a love of reading. Please note: some programs require advance registration.

View Young Adults Programs

The YA Zone, Young Adult Room, is located on the Second Level of the Morse Institute Library. It serves the middle school and high school population. The reference librarians work closely with students to fulfill homework and other reference needs.

Internet:
The YA Room has 2 PCs and 1 iMac available with Internet access, electronic resources, and assorted commonly used programs including Microsoft Word. A library card number is needed to access the computers. Time on the computers is limited to 30 minutes.

Web Sites
Teen Links is a directory of web sites especially for teens including sections on careers and college as well as entertainment, games, and mind & body. These sites have been reviewed and selected by Minuteman Library Network librarians.

Books and Magazines
The YA Room features a selection of hardcover fiction and paperbacks as well as magazines. Also included is a small selection of non-fiction titles, although most of the young adult non-fiction is shelved with the adult collection.

Kids Connect
Kids connect with each other to make this community a fun, yet educational, experience for the Middle Schools of Natick.

Wireless Internet Connection:
If you have a laptop computer, you can now borrow a wireless card at the Reference Desk on the Library’s Second Level. A wireless kit can be checked out for 3 hours and may be renewed once if no one is waiting. The wireless kit should be returned to the Reference Desk. Fines for overdue kits are $3.00 per hour. There is a $100.00 fine for the replacement kit.
