Mill City Rock Gym has served as a climber's sanctuary since 1994, providing indoor climbing walls with a wide variety of well graded climbing trails, plus camaraderie and a spirit of shared purpose for New England rock climbers. It is owned and operated by climbing enthusiast Mark Sousa.

In 1994 Mark hand-built Mill City Rock Gym based on his own experience scaling crags, cliffs, walls and slabs throughout the northeast, including Cathedral Ledge, Cannon Cliff, White Horse and other White Mountain venues, plus Rumney Rocks, the Gunks, and elsewhere.
