The indoor museum is devoted to contemporary art, with an emphasis on New England artists. The bright colors and contemporary, recognizable themes can engage both infants and toddlers and exhibits change often.
Picnickers come to enjoy the outdoor sculpture garden with its 35 acres of beautiful vegetation. The garden features over 50 modern and contemporary sculptures of varying sizes and colors from the very huge and abstract to more familiar forms like totem poles. All sculptures are hands-on but climbing is not permitted.
