smile sudbury playground photoThis Sudbury Playground includes a Boundless Playground area designated for 5 – 12 year olds and a new 2 – 5 year old tot lot. Loads of unique climbers & slides to explore for children of all abilities.

Three slides are a part of the primary structure: one double wide, so that children can slide down with friends while holding hands, and a spiral, a favorite among children.

Four unique climbers provide ample challenge and fun to any afternoon. The spider web is a playground favorite that also includes an infinite climbing apparatus. Swings, sand boxes, and fun ride ons round out this fantastic new play area.

The decking ramps each have fun footprints of different animals. Some square decks also have bells that can be rung by the children. Colored kick plates, where used, provide color breaks for visually impaired children.

A transfer station, located by the exit of the slides, provides alternative access means for those who can move in or out of a wheelchair.

A paved walkway from the parking lot allows for direct access to the play area. Poured rubber surfacing line much of the interior and wood chips line the perimeters.

There are soccer fields surrounding the playground for running, jumping, playing & picnicking; as well as a skate park for older kids. Restrooms are available just outside the gate between the playground & the parking lot.

Wonderful playground! Very new and advanced. Enclosed almost all the way, so still need to keep an eye on the little kids. Wish it was all enclosed with gate. Its truly the only downside to the park. Otherwise, fabulous!
