A Great Treat - Apples And Storytelling, Wed 30 Sep 2009
We went for the apple picking and were pleasantly suprised to discover the Storytelling in the Orchards. What a special family day. I'm told there will be more storytelling coming up on 10/4 and 10/12 from 1-3pm. This is not to be missed!
Great!, Thu 25 Sep 2008
We've been going to Honeypot for the past few years, because we didn't know the other orchards in Stow were more than just farm stands. Shelburne is great! It has a shop with homemade fudge and tons of different types of caramel apples (candy corn, M&M's, nuts, chocolate chips, etc) as well as cider and apples and cakes. They also have a huge lunch menu. They've added to their kids things - they now have a little tractor play area, a hay maze and a huge mountain of hay for the kids to climb on. They've also got all sorts of new animals! Give them a call, they're family run and everyone is really nice. BEST farm in the town!
Great For The Whole Family, Sat 30 Sep 2006
While it was extremely busy today as I am sure it was at every orchard around we found this place to be so family friendly. Our family really enjoyed this place so much that we plan to make it annual tradition to pick apples here. They have so many varieties of apples. Our son enjoyed the tractor hay ride and 'picking his own apples'. They had horse rides for additional fee. We feel this palce is definitely worth the trip!
