Welcome to Southern New England's largest and most varied ski mountain! Berkshire East, located just off the scenic Mohawk Trail, offers 45 trails from beginner to extreme. This uncrowded network of trails is complemented with a 100% snowmaking capacity and 5 lifts.

Directions
From Amherst, MA: Take Route 116 West to South Deerfield. Take Interstate 91 North to Exit 26, then taking Route 2 West for 17 miles through Shelburne, and finally Charlemont. As you go through Charlemont village, look for a green sign that says 'Route 8A South' or a big blue sign that says 'Berkshire East Ski Area' with an arrow pointing left. Take that left, which goes over the Deerfield River and railroad tracks. You will then see another blue sign that says 'Berkshire East Ski Area' with an arrow pointing left. Take that left, and then take your third right (there's a road, a driveway, followed immediately by the Berkshire East entrance) which has a white sign for Berkshire East. Next, enjoy the skiing!

From Boston, MA: Take Route 2 West for about 100 miles, going through Greenfield, Shelburne, and finally Charlemont. As you go through Charlemont village, look for a green sign that says 'Route 8A South' or a big blue sign that says 'Berkshire East Ski Area' with an arrow pointing left. Take that left, which goes over the Deerfield River and railroad tracks. You will then see another blue sign that says 'Berkshire East Ski Area' with an arrow pointing left. Take that left, and then take your third right (there's a road, a driveway, followed immediately by the Berkshire East entrance) which has a white sign for Berkshire East. Next, enjoy the skiing!
