berkshire east ski area photoWelcome to Southern New England's largest and most varied ski mountain! Berkshire East, located just off the scenic Mohawk Trail, offers 45 trails from beginner to extreme.

This uncrowded network of trails is complemented with a 100% snowmaking capacity and 5 lifts.

This older style ski resort if perfect for families as the mountain offers a wide variety of trails that all abilities can enjoy. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and wait times for lifts are minimal. Has a real neighborhood feel to it.

View Rates and Season Pass Info

Berkshire East is a solid option to explore vs. hitting the more crowded NH & VT ski areas. Their reasonable rates will leave your wallet and vehicle thanking you while the compelling trails will have you thinking about your next great day on the slopes.

They also have a small tubing park and night skiing. We found the staff and environment to be very friendly and welcoming.

Summer Activities - Ziplining
Berkshire East is New England's largest zip destination and was featured by USA Today as one of the Top 10 Zip lines of the United States!

Choose from one of three great zip line canopy tours.

Base Tour
Why zip our introductory course? Because you just want to try zipping, not test your fate on the extreme lines. 4 zip lines for thirty dollars. Who can beat that? After you've tried the Base, hop on either the VJ or Mt Top tours and receive our group price discount!

Mountain Top Tour
7 zips, 2 lovely hikes, 2 great ski lift rides, ride dual racing lines and brave towers 45' in the air. Features incredible views of the valley, and an experience that the whole family can enjoy!

Valley Jump
Extreme fun! One of the best tours in North America. Featured in the Washington Post and in reviews all over the internet. You'll love it. Two 1/2 long mile zips, approaches 200' off the ground. This is a category killer.

4-starGreat place
If you are looking for a great place to take your family skiing without the long lines & high prices this year I definitely recommend Berkshire East. It's about 2.5 hours from Boston - 2 hours from metrowest. Has a really nice mix of trails - super friendly staff and great prices. It's an older style resort - so no high speed lifts and huge mountain skiing, however we really enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful day of skiing. They also offer a tubing park for an additional fee.
