The Peabody Essex Museum’s K-12 School Programs aim to support classroom instruction and motivate student learning by providing opportunities to discover and explore unique works of art and culture from around the world.
Museum educators design visits for students that connect artworks and objects to classroom lessons and students’ every day lives.
The Museum's website also offers curriculum resources for teachers and classroom materials for specific school programs.

Visual Arts, English Language Arts, History & Social Sciences, Math & Science.
All programs are interactive gallery lessons plans are designed to promote students’ visual literacy and critical-thinking skills and connect directly to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for History and Social Science, Language Arts, Art, Mathematics, and Science and Technology.
Reservations are required at least three weeks in advance of your visit and are required for guided and self-guided visits.
