The Wang Theatre, part of the Citi Performing Arts Center, is one of the nation's foremost not-for-profit performing arts institutions. It's aura, elegance and appearance were inspired by the Paris Opera Comique and the Palace of Versailles.

About Citi Performing Arts Center
Citi Performing Arts Center [formerly The Wang Center for the Performing Arts, Inc.] is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting broad-based, popular art and entertainment, and arts education programming that is accessible to adults, youth and families of diverse backgrounds and interests throughout greater Boston. Citi Performing Arts Center operates the Wang Theatre and Shubert Theatre.

Through its ongoing partnerships with its resident companies, Boston Ballet and Boston Lyric Opera and collaboration with Bank of America Celebrity Series, as well as through public programming initiatives such as free Shakespeare on the Common presented by Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Citi Performing Arts Center presents culturally diverse theatrical experiences to the public.

The Center's Education Department, through its Suskind Young At Arts Endowment Fund, helps to build community and neighborhood partnerships and programs including Dance Across the City, Celebrate Shakespeare Day, and City Spotlights, debuting in spring 2007.

By Public Transportation: The most convenient MBTA stops to The Wang Theatre are the Orange Line/New England Medical Center stop and the Green Line/Boylston Street stop. Both are located one block away from the theaters. The Red Line/Park Street stop is two blocks north of the theaters on Tremont Street. There are several parking lots located near the theaters: The Tremont Street Garage adjacent to The Wang Theatre; the parking lot at the corner of Tremont and Stuart Streets; the 57 Hotel on Stuart Street; CityPlace Garage in Park Square; the Kinney Motor Mart on Stuart Street and the Fitz-Inn Lot on Kneeland Street.
