Quite the funky roadside attraction, Babson College in Wellesley, MA boasts having one of the largest 'worlds' in the world on their grounds near the Coleman Map Building. The Babson World weighs 25 tons, is 28' diameter, and is continuously rotating. Kind of a neat photo op.Note:
The 1964 NY World's Fair Unisphere, which is still standing in Flushing Meadows, is 120 feet in diameter. The Babson Globe might then be be billed, 'the world's largest 'world' that bills itself as a world and rotates.'
