The Green Planet is a neighborhood yoga studio and creative center. They feature small classes (no more than 12 students), an intimate environment, and knowledgeable, caring instructors. The teachers have extensive training and experience, and are attentive to individual needs. Classes are offered for the whole family and for every ability.

Their studio is located in the upstairs level of The Green Planet, an eco-friendly toy and gift store in Newton Highlands, MA. They are situated in a lovely village of shops and restaurants, just minutes from the Newton Highlands T station. The studio is bright and airy, with rice paper blinds, soothing off-white walls, and a natural wood floor. They've created a calm, relaxing atmosphere that will allow you to focus on your own needs.

After class, relax in their shop, have a complimentary cup of herbal tea or spring water, chat with your classmates, or browse through our yoga books, organic clothing and other unique natural merchandise.

Yoga Kids Classes:
Yoga Kids classes are creative and playful. Children experience the postures as a variety of animals and plants, from frogs and lions, to cats and cows . Yoga Kids hop, roar, meow, moo, chant, sing, laugh, and learn how to wrap themselves in a cloak of silence.

Through yoga play, children gain body awareness, learn about their lungs, improve focus and balance, and discover skeletal secrets about their bodies. Instruments and a variety of props will be used for added interest.

This unique class has a positive impact on all aspects of a child's development, builds confidence, and most importantly, it's just plain fun!
