Bay State Fencers, is a full service fencing club and fencing academy dedicated to teaching the Olympic Sport of Fencing.

We are committed to fostering the principles of Respect, Patience and Competitive Spirit while patiently and respectfully supporting each child as they work to achieve their personal, athletic and competitive goals.

Fencing is a safe and exhilarating lifelong sport for all ages and athletic abilities. This may come as a surprise, considering the sport's origins, but modern fencing equipment and rules ensure that injuries are limited to the occasional bruised arm, or ego. Bay State Fencers is pleased to have served families since 2004.

Bay State Fencers offers...

Our Programs
As a time-honored sport, fencing teaches good sportsmanship, self-discipline and stimulates the mind by providing immediate rewards for using sound judgment.

Fencing teaches everyone to enjoy winning and to profit from defeat, with the benefit of physical exercise. Fencing is also a great activity for developing general athletic skills including: hand to eye coordination, speed, and agility.

Incredible club with top-notch coaching

I've been fencing for almost ten years, and Coach Iliya took me from a beginner to competing at an international level. When he moved here from Chicago, I moved here too. He's that good of a coach and I'd recommend him and the program at Bay State to anybody looking for a fencing club that offers personal attention from a coach with a profound knowledge of the sport.
