Aircraft Aerial Arts offers instruction to beginning and experienced practitioners on aerial silks, corde lisse, lyra/hoop, and static trapeze. Private and group classes are available.
All classes are taught by Aircraft’s founder, Jill Maio, and limited to four students to maximize personal attention.
Instructor Jill Maio is an aerialist specializing in corde lisse, aerial silks, static trapeze and lyra, as well as a fiction writer and university instructor (currently teaching part time at Boston University). She has performed professionally at events such as Cirque de la Lune and the Philadelphia Folk Festival, and for clients such as the Hilton Hotels and the University of Pennsylvania. Before her recent return to Boston, she was an aerial instructor at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.
