MIT Day Summer Camp Local children ages 6 to 11 will have something new to sing, dance, stomp and shout about this summer. Starting June 27, Inga Magid’s Lexington Keys for Kids studio will host a new theater arts program created and staffed by professionals from the worlds of music, dance, art, and drama.
The program will include six one-week sessions, featuring a new theme each week. Children will explore each theme through songs, dances, stories and art from many cultures. During each week, children will “go backstage” to learn some basic acting and musical skills, create costumes, and design and build props and sets. Each week will end with a short performance for family and friends.
Students may enroll for any number of one-week sessions. Early registration is advised.
