A research-based music program for young children with trained and licensed teachers. Parents attend classes with young children (no musical skills required). There is new music issued for each semester, including: songbook, CD, cassette tape, and parent guide.

At each class, children are introduced to songs and live music, as well as creative movement with fun props, rhythms, tonal patterns, and opportunities to play instruments. Classes involve mixed age groups, birth to kindergarten, and children participate at their own level.

It is a neat opportunity to watch your children expand their horizons by participating in musical activities.

5-starBest Activity For Little Ones
You get gross motor, fine motor, language development, interaction with other children of various ages, fun fun fun!!!! And two CD's and a songbook. You get the most bang for your buck here, AND the the improvement in the kids musicality is tremendous.
5-starMusic Together
Since the subject of the cost of the Music Together program has come up a couple of times on this site, I feel it's important to point out that each Music Together center operates independently and sets their own tuitions. The cost of this program ranges anywhere from $160 - $225, depending upon the particular location.
4-starWonderful
Music Together is the one activity we did consistently with my older son, and I'm excited about bringing my baby. My son learned so much, he has great rhythm and sings beautifully and in perfect tune at age 5, and it was all fun and playful. Somebody had mentioned the cost - it's a private class, but I found it much less expensive than Gymboree and some other classes we've done.
3-starMusic Together
Both of my children and I really enjoy this class, and we've taken four terms of it. It requires a huge amount of Parent participation, so be ready to get down and be silly. Unfortunately, this class is also cost prohibitively expensive. Due to yet ANOTHER recent price increase, we will no longer be taking this incredibly overpriced class.
5-starA terrific activity
My daughter has been going to Music Together classes for 3 semesters now and I think it is one of te best activities that she participates in. I find her singing the songs to herself and asking me to play the CDs for her. I love watching her dance around and actually 'requesting' certain songs. I really recommend this program.
4-starIt really grows on you
I wasn't sure about the class the first time I brought my daughter, but after the first few classes I started seeing her pick up on certain rhythms and tones, and not only recognize, but ENJOY some of the songs. Now she listens to the CD all the time and dances and repeats some of the sounds from class. The songs on the CD are very good and you get a new CD for each class. Overall it's a very good class and it's fun to see your child get involved with music. Check out a guest class for a preview.
-starMy 18 month old loves music class
My son loves going to music class. It is amazing how much he picks up in each class. Mr. Vic (the teacher) really has a knack communicating with the kids. My son loves listening to the CD (you get a tape & CD with the class materials), and he laughs and dances to his favorites. It's really neat to see your child start to recognize and repeat the music.
