Imagine camp as it was meant to be. Kids playing games and sports, singing and chanting, creating art projects, exploring nature and being challenged by new adventures, swimming and fishing, laughing and bonding!This is Sewataro, a day camp owned and directed by the Taylor family with a personal touch and commitment.
Now in its third generation of family management, Sewataro embodies traditions like campfires, overnights, boating, archery, camp songs and rituals.
And Sewataro embraces innovations like a custom-built climbing tower, a Project-Adventure designed Challenge Course, GPS treasure hunts, and a 180 track Avid recording studio.
We are known for our attention to detail, personal involvement, unparalleled 52-year safety record, and high standards of counselor performance.
With two ponds (one of them stocked with bass, trout, perch, and sunfish) and over fifty acres of rolling hills, pine groves, and playing fields, basketball and tennis courts, the camp site is a unique playground of natural beauty. Swimming, soccer, arts & crafts, you name it, and we’ve got it.
