The Holliston Newcomers Club is proud to announce its 37th Annual Craft Fair, a juried fair of 150 crafters showcasing the finest handmade items from around New England.

The Craft Fair is Holliston Newcomers Club’s largest annual fund-raiser and accounts for the majority of the funds provided to organizations in Holliston through the club’s grant program.

This year’s fair will be held on Sunday, November 23 from 9am to 4pm at Holliston High School and is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees (many of whom return year after year) from all over Massachusetts and New England.

This year’s fair will feature a 30 percent increase in the number of crafters selling handmade-only items in the following categories: accessories/apparel, art expressions, bath and body, botanical accents, children’s toys, home accessories, jewelry, pet accessories, paper creations, whimsical, and glass/pottery/wood/metal.

Get a head start on your holiday shopping and/or treat yourself to something special this year!

As is tradition, the Craft Fair will feature a raffle table with items from each crafter, along with a bake table of delectable baked goods donated by each member of the Holliston Newcomers Club.

Attendees who bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Holliston Food Pantry will receive $1 off the cost of admission.

The cost of admission at the door is as follows: adults $6; senior citizens $3; under 12 free.

For over 40 years, the Holliston Newcomers Club has remained strongly committed to giving back to the community by issuing grants to organizations that make a significant impact to the town, provide needed services and projects, and help the greatest number of Holliston residents.

In 2014, grant recipients included the Holliston Auxiliary Police, the Holliston Arts Council, the Friends of Holliston Trails, the American Legion Marigold Project, the Placentino Creative Movement, the Miller School Gift Bag Project, the Holliston PTSA Placentino and Miller Schools, the Holliston Council on Aging, the Holliston Police Department, the Holliston Public Library, the Holliston Fire Department, and the Holliston Food Pantry to support their continuing efforts.

The Holliston Newcomers Club (www.hollistonnewcomers.org) is a not-for-profit organization that coordinates charitable, civic, educational, and recreational events and activities in the town of Holliston, MA.

The organization’s goal is to encourage association among community members and foster community spirit.

Membership is open to both residents and non-residents of Holliston.
