A monumental installation in the Sculpture Park that features the artist's renowned usage of paint-covered, hand-knotted nautical rope to create bright, undulating walls in three primary colors winding through deCordova's lawn, pathways, and hillside.

2011 Rappaport Prize recipient Orly Genger presents Red, Yellow and Blue, a monumental installation in the Sculpture Park that features the artist's renowned usage of paint-covered, hand-knotted nautical rope to create bright, undulating walls in three primary colors winding through deCordova's lawn, pathways, and hillside.

Comprised of 1.4 million feet of rope, Red, Yellow and Blue will be among deCordova's largest installations to date.

The work was originally commissioned by New York City's Madison Square Park Conservancy, where it was on view during the summer of 2013; it will be reconfigured and sculpted to adapt to deCordova's specific landscape.

This is a notable collaboration for both MSPC and deCordova, as it marks the first traveling project for both institutions.
