Renowned artist Janet Echelman, who lives in Brookline, created an aerial net sculpture titled 'As If It Were Already Here', that boasts some impressive stats: It’s made from over 100 miles of twine and half a million knots.
It weighs approximately 1 ton. And it will soar hundreds of feet above the Fort Point Channel Park through October.
You are invited to discover innovative and contemporary art on the Greenway all summer, through free, temporary exhibitions. The art is always changing so come back to see what’s new!
