Pamela Wamala and Steve Noroian

Noroian’s photographic interpretations of Venice during Carnivale provided the luminous starting point for Wamala’s collection of mixed media acrylic paintings and embellished monoprints.

Wamala’s “Visioni di Venezia Suite” is a study in contrasts.

Some paintings are bold, while others are poetic and subtle.

Surface quality ranges from glassy smooth to multi layered and textural.

Noroian's photographs evoke the beauty, bold colors, and distinctive features of Venice.

His work, notable for robust colors and striking detail, reveals a hyper-realism that is surrealistic in its impact and serves to complement Wamala's inspired pieces.

Noroian's images are printed on canvas and treated with a glossy lacquer.

“Visioni di Venezia” proves to be a colorful feast for the eyes and a visual tour into the sublime!
