virtual artweek 2020 photoPlease join us for “ArtWeek at Home” (May 1 – 10) – a ten-day virtual-festival that we hope will bring a daily dose of creative fun!

HOW TO JOIN THE FESTIVAL

STEP 1: For the kick-off on May 1, check out what is happening across the state as ArtWeek hosts and partners share what they are up to these days via their social media posts. Even though we won't have a calendar of events, these hosts and partners will be tagging #ArtWeekAtHome and we will be sharing via our social channels, too!

STEP 2: Follow us on social media @ArtWeekMA during the full ten days (May 1 - 10) for fun daily prompts and challenges, each highlighting a different artistic genre.

STEP 3: Play along with our BINGO card (coming soon) – Every challenge you complete, share the photo/video with us by tagging us @ArtWeekMA and #ArtWeekAtHome, or email us at [email protected].

==========

Launched in 2013 by the Boch Center as part of a mission-driven strategy to strengthen its role in both the community and the creative economy beyond just its downtown historic theaters, ArtWeek’s growth has been explosive and the festival has become the Center’s signature nonprofit community-wide program.

In May 2017, the Boch Center announced ArtWeek was expanding statewide and launched a new logo, website address (ArtWeekMA.org) with continued support from founding partner Highland Street Foundation.

Statewide champions of ArtWeek include the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, and the Mass Cultural Council, who are joined by hundreds of community and media partners representing every region in the Commonwealth.

Featuring hundreds of arts and cultural experiences (many free), the event is now cited as one of the area’s top special events and the “Bay State’s most creative festival.” ArtWeek 2020 (May 1 – May 10) promises to light even more creative sparks!
