The annual Asparagus Festival is a reminder of the benefits of buying local: from flavor, freshness and nutrition to supporting local agriculture and open spaces.
75% of Verrill Farm’s asparagus crop, planted on over 7 acres, is harvested in May and available at the farm stand. It is also when the farm’s annual festival is held.
