Auditions are announced for the young co. at Stoneham Theatre's Winter Shows:
for act 1 (grades 4-6) and act 2 (grades 7-9)

The Pajama Game

We are pleased to announce auditions for our winter show. The Music Man Jr. will be directed by Jack Neary, who last directed A Christmas Story for the Mainstage, and whose play The Porch, will premiere at Stoneham Theatre in the spring. Jeremy Johnson is directing at Stoneham for the first time; previous credits include directing for Foothills Theatre and Gloucester Stage.
Auditions will be held Monday, December 3rd from 3:30pm-9:30pm at Stoneham Theatre. Additional auditions may be scheduled on Tuesday evening if these is demand. Callbacks will be Thursday, December 6th at the theatre.
All auditionees should come prepared with 16 bars of music in the style of the show (classic Broadway). Please bring your sheet music with you. You should also come prepared to dance. E-mail education@stonehamtheatre.org to sign up for a 5 minute audition slot.
Both shows begin rehearsal January 2nd, and perform the week of February 8th-10th, with the potential of a student matinee performances for each of the productions. More information abut the specific rehearsal and performance schedule will be available at auditions.
Tuition for the program is $275. Some need based scholarships are available.
