Celebrate the start of Independence Day weekend on Friday, July 6 in Barnstable. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:00-9:15 p.m. Bring the family and watch the sky light up over the shore.
Fireworks will be shot off of a barge in Lewis Bay at dusk (approximate time 9 p.m.) by Atlas Fireworks of New Hampshire.
Rain date July 7.
Parking Tips
The North Street parking lots are recommended. Visitors are encouraged to walk to the waterfront via the Walkway to the Sea.
A Parking Ban will be in effect South of South Street (Ocean St. & Old Colony Rd.) from 5:00pm to midnight. Parking will be available in the North Street parking lots and Town Hall parking lot. Tow Zones Strictly Enforced. Carpooling Suggested. Handicapped Parking is available at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum on South Street.

Veteran's Beach, Bismore and Aselton parks.
Rain Date
In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled on Saturday, July 7th at the same time. Notification will be made to all radio stations and other media immediately upon cancellation in an effort to let spectators know as far in advance as possible.
