5-starMaple Sugar Days
This is a wonderful, low-priced activity for the whole famliy. There is a presentation in the barn; a living history time line of maple sugaring, including Native Americans, Colonists, and modern day sugaring; a hay ride (usually); hot chocolate & hot dogs; games; and--our favorite--the sugar house where you can see and smell the evaporator in action and taste the sweet final product. You may just catch a glimpse of the walking maple tree around the farm (if they still do this).
