The Buttonwood Park Zoological Society invites students in grades 4, 5 and 6 to participate in our 3rd Annual Animal Poetry Contest. The poem can be about any one of the animals that reside here at the Zoo, for example: how it looks, acts, sounds, or why it is important to the environment, or why you like it so much, etc.
Please note that only poems about animals that are residents at the zoo will be considered for awards. Visit www.bpzoo.org for more information and to download an entry form.
