Willie the Moose is back, and he has a brand new Christmas adventure!

Stop by Stone Zoo's gift shop during ZooLights for a book-signing of There’s a Moose on the Christmas Caboose and to meet Willie the Moose in person!

About the author:
Michael MacCurtain is a retired school teacher who wrote his first Willie the Moose story in 1998.

He has been delighting his classes for years with his personal reading of Willie the Moose Who Saved Christmas, a ballad he originally wrote as a gift for a sixth grade writing class in the Natick, Mass.

school system where he was teaching at the time.

He taught in middle schools in Natick and Brockton before retiring and starting a second career as a children’s author.

He has written and self-published three books which have sold close to 20,000 copies in 17 states and Canada.

Mike enjoys reading his stories to his own grandchildren and watching their excitement anytime Willie the Moose happens to stop by.
