Enjoy a day of music, dance, poetry, food and visual art. Festival highlights include stages for Jazz, Folk, Gospel, Dance, World and Children's music, New England folk and traditional art demonstrations, temporary public art, a variety of hands on art-making activities for children and vendors selling food and imported crafts from locations around the world.
The Festival, which is one of the largest celebrations of the arts in Massachusetts and draws 100,000 people, takes place along a mile-long stretch of the riverbank on the Cambridge side. (Memorial Dr. between Harvard & Central Squares.).
Festival highlights include stages for music (including Jazz, Folk, Gospel, World), temporary public art, a variety of hands on art-making activities for children and vendors selling food and imported crafts from locations around the world.
Events at the Cambridge River Festival are exciting, interactive, educational and offered free to the public.

Memorial Drive at Charles River in Cambridge. Activities take place along the Charles River in Cambridge including a closed-off-to-traffic Memorial Drive, between Western Avenue and JFK Streets (Harvard and Central Squares), two blocks from Harvard Square T station.
