NuVu is a place of innovation where middle and high school students join together with experts from MIT and Harvard to create new views of the world. Every semester topic encourages students to explore, design, invent, and get messy in a studio environment designed for and by the kids.
The Summer studios will revolve around the theme “Games and Magic”. Through the process of designing and playing games, students will learn fundamental concepts dealing with math, science, programming, design, digital arts, writing and film.
While having fun, the students will use the games as a framework to learn many skills. They will also have the opportunity to draw on the research, tournaments, and inventions done at MIT on game theory and design.
NuVu is open to all students between ages 12-18. We have an open admission policy. We believe in the creative capacity of every kid and their ability to manifest their creative thinking in many different forms.
