Before your summer is in full swing, enroll your kids in a fun 'rainforest camp' experience. Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC), 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland, is once again offering 'Kids' Week' June 28 through July 1, 2010. Camp hours are nine a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, with an evening family closing celebration and barbecue on July 1 from six to eight p.m.

'Kid's Week' is TCC's version of what is traditionally known as Vacation Bible School, but with more fun! Kids will kick off their mornings with interactive large group assemblies complete with zany stunts and daily challenges. They will experience an exciting rainforest adventure by watching a drama with Professor Hinkley and four student explorers who over the course of the week learn who God is, why we need Him, and how to get to know Him. The rest of their morning will be spent in age-leveled groups where they will participate in lively music, creative crafts, and recreation.

'Camp SonQuest' is offered free of charge to children entering kindergarten through entering grade five. There will be an opportunity to donate monies to support two children in a Haitian orphanage, as well as to bring in new school supplies and gently used backpacks for Dorchester children in need.

Gail Hughson, Director of Children's Ministries at TCC and the entire Kid's Week team is hoping that kids from all over metrowest are able to join them for a fun-filled week at 'Camp SonQuest'.
