Ages 4-6.
Beautiful to some, gross to others, all insects have a purpose. Our Bug Campers will learn about insects through a variety of hands-on experiments, bug-themed games, and crafts. How many different kinds of insects are there? Where do they live? What do they eat? What good are they anyway? How do you get a skeleton on the outside of your body? How does it grow? Can we eat them? Learn words like thorax, metamorphosis, and elytron. They will have a blast exploring a world so tiny, they may need a magnifying glass to see it!
