During this four day course,your child will work on group improvisation, creative movement exercises, and scripts from commercials, television and film to sharpen performance skills, confidence and self-discipline necessary to excel on-screen. On the final day of the course,
actors’ performances will be filmed, showcasing each child’s polished performance on a DVD that can be used for demo reels and further critique.
The last session will also include a seminar on the business of acting, discussing the nitty-gritty of finding work, impressing casting directors, and developing great headshots and
resumes. Parents are encouraged to attend this seminar. This acting iintensive is a MUST for all serious child actors!
Lorna Brunelle opened The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts in Middleboro in 1995, and began teaching at Boston Casting in 2000. Over the years, her teaching style has helped hundreds of students achieve success in commercials, films, college auditions, pageants, and live theater.
