Dance to the sound of your own tune, walk to the beat of your own drum, sing to the sound of your own song! Beginning Wednesday, July 13th, 2011 introduce your little ones to music, rhythm, expressiveness and social skills with the Boston Center for Adult Education’s (BCAE) new Bean City Kids class, “Bean City Tune Time!”
Part of the Boston Center for Adult Education’s Child Enrichment Program, Bean City Kids, this 7 session class is perfect for children 2 months to 5 years of age. Children and their caregivers will use a variety of instruments and toys to learn about colors, animals, nature and more!
Bang on the drums, shake the rhythm stick, wave the rainbow scarves and tell stories with finger puppets as the instructor sings and leads the class through various songs and exercises!
This class will be sure to provide even the youngest children with a greater appreciation for music and rhythm, and will give parents some ideas for fun, simple musical games that can be enjoyed at home!
