Spend a week learning culinary techniques and exploring foods from around the world in this hands on cooking program for kids. Each day the students enjoy a lunch that they prepare with the help of trained chefs.

For children and teens who love to be in the kitchen, our week-long class will have them cooking around the world. We begin the week with kitchen basics and French techniques.

Through the week we will explore foods and techniques from the Mediterranean as we cook our way through Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Italy and Spain. We’ll explore the cuisine of Asia as well as our own regional American cuisine.

We wrap up our day with all enjoying a delicious lunch that we prepared! Young cooks will learn basics in kitchen safety, proper food handling, food preparation, cooking and baking techniques, presentation, and understanding recipes.

Through this week-long class students will learn valuable culinary skills and techniques that they will use for the rest of their lives.

-For ages 8-12 (July 9-13) and 13-18 (July 16-20)
-Programs run Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm
-Lunch is included
-Complete recipe package will be provided
-Classes are limited to 14 students
-Classes are taught by Cooking Up Culture Chefs and Assistants
-$500 fee includes all equipment and food
