We have an awesome camp program at NSS (if we do say so ourselves!) Come for two hours or come all week.
Everyone works on their own projects at their own pace with expert guidance from our friendly staff.
With projects for any skill level and so much to explore we guarantee you won't even want to stop for lunch!
Beginners: You will learn how to use a sewing machine by sewing projects that include straight lines and curves, zippers and ruffles, buttons and buttonholes, drawstrings and handles, linings and facings, seam allowances and cutting.
Understand differences in fabrics and why we use them when we do.Here are some samples of our beginning projects.
Non-Beginners: Working from your own measurements use computer assisted pattern drafting to create clothing patterns that fit and look exactly the way you like.
Learn how to create your own custom stuffed toys by making your own patterns.
Advanced pillow making ideas will set your designs apart from the crowd.
Learn how to use multiple sewing techniques together to give projects a professional look.
Spend time in our Design Studio learning how factory machines sew or learn how to create your own embroidery to create truly personalized projects.
