In these free workshops held in six Boston communities, participants will discover how enjoyable the world of theatre can be. Through performing art skills such as theater games, ensemble building, and original scene development, participants will become familiar with the A Midsummer Night’s Dream story line and its universal themes. This program will culminate with a showcase on the Boston Common on Saturday, July 28 as part of Celebrate Shakespeare Day.

Participants must be able to attend ALL sessions of this program. This workshop is suitable for participants of all levels, including beginners.

Workshop Schedule
July 2-July 28, 2007
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 2 – 4 pm, 6 hours per week
Showcase: Saturday, July 28

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST INTERVIEW FOR THE CELEBRATE SHAKESPEARE PROGRAM, INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE MAY 29 – JUNE 8.
