Minute Man Arc will be offering a Spotlight Series of five presentations on topics pertinent to children with Autism or Asperger's Syndrome. The Spotlight Series is open to the public and provided free of charge through a grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Schedule of Presentations
May 25th, Denise Grenier, a private consultant and Asperger's Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist, will present an Overview of what we know about individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum, current controversies about cause and perspective, and where we go from here.

June 1st, Robin Lurie-Meyerkopf, special educator and consultant on teaching children with pragmatic & social skills deficits, will offer specific practical interventions that schools and parents can implement.

June 8th, Caroline Renau, MSW, LICSW, will present a cost effective practical integrated model of support for families with a child on the autism spectrum. Her presentation will be for both educators and parents.

June 15th, Danielle Luce, Autism Specialist for the Lexington School System, will present some of the current approaches to inclusive education which are supporting the expanding population of children with developmental challenges.

June 22nd, Ellen Korin, Special Education Teacher and author of “Asperger Syndrome - An Owner's Manual: What You, Your Parents and Your Teachers Need to Know” will share her new book. Signed copies will be available.
