Between 1808 and 1811, a young printer's apprentice by the name of John Kilby Green invented…what went on to form the beginnings of one of the most successful toys in English history! Hugo Brown (John Kilby Green's Great, Great, Great Grandson).

Coinciding with WCT's production of Peter Pan, this exciting course will introduce students to the fun world of Toy Theatre. Using the Peter Pan script, students will create individual toy theatres (and puppets), which will be used in a final, pre-videotaped performance for friends and family. Basic scene design will be explored, in addition to script analysis from a theatre designer's perspective.
