Practicing Personal Safety

Join Park Rangers of the MA Dept. t of Conservation and Recreation who will share skills in practicing personal safety in public places. This free program will be held Saturday November 18th at 11 am at the Botume House Visitor Center of the Middlesex Fells at 4 Woodland Road in Stoneham, a half-mile south of Stone Zoo.If this is a recurring event that will be happening again this year, please let us know.
With 5 years experience as a Park Ranger at the State House and in the North Region, Ranger Polcaro will discuss precautions to take while in parks and other venues. If you are lost, recognizing suspicious activities, and ice safety will be some of the topics covered. Many materials will be available for distribution, ranging from issues of Victims’ Resources to Burn Prevention, to securing against auto theft and What Rangers Do.
