Have you been coveting the latest fashion trend of enameled rings and brooches? Create your own unique jewelry with pizzazz with artist Dianne Reilly. You will see why enameling has been a favorite method of metalsmiths throughout history to add eye-popping color to their work. By combining pattern, color and metal you will create your own one-of-a-kind pieces of colored jewelry and objects.

Make your friends jealous with your fabulous pieces that cannot be bought in stores! Some techniques covered will be sifting, Basse-taille, Sgraffito, and stenciling. Knowledge of other jewelry techniques is useful, but not necessary for this workshop.

Dianne Reilly is a studio artist and an adjunct professor of art at Rhode Island College. She has previously taught at Fuller Craft Museum, UMass Dartmouth and Snowfarm. Her recent exhibitions include: Perimeter Gallery, Chicago; Arrowmount School of Crafts; Velvet Da Vinci Gallery, San Francisco; and [insert here] currently on view at Fuller Craft Museum. Reilly’s work has also been included in the books 1000 Rings and The Art and Craft of Making Jewelry.
