Spaces are still available for this Saturday, Sunday and school vacation week classes at In Control Advanced Driver Training / Skid School at the old Naval Air field in South Weymouth or their North Andover facility. The class is 4 1/2 hours long and professional race car drivers train you behind the wheel (in their cars) so that you can control a vehicle better and avoid accidents.

In Control Advanced Driver Training provides the skid school classes that have been featured by the Boston Globe and all the Boston TV News Stations. The #1 killer of teens is automobile crashes. 43% of first year drivers crash. 37% of second year drivers crash. In Control's course has been found to reduce accidents in new drivers by 70%.

This 4.5 hour program gives new drivers the opportunity to experience a panic stop and an emergency lane change situation. Students are trained in car control, skid avoidance and many other emergency situations that cannot be covered in traditional drivers ed.

This class should be taken by permitted or licensed drivers who have completed the drivers education portion of their training. Taking the class just prior to getting a license helps avoid teens picking up bad habits on their own.
